Our Crews
We use no subcontractors to perform any splicing services. We
only utilize our own company employees.
Fiber-Tel Contractors'
splicing crews utilize 4 x 4 trucks equipped with winches and
splicing labs mounted on the back. Each two-man crew operates
with a 1000 watt and a 5000 watt generator.
All crews
are fully equipped with communication equipment, visible
light sources, power meters, tents, and complete manhole packages.
The crews have additional tools and equipment on hand which
different environments or job situations may require.
For aerial
applications, Fiber-Tel Contractors maintains bucket/utility
trucks.
Fiber-Tel Contractors' ATVs enable our crews to
work in areas not accessible to 4x4 trucks.

We subcontracted to C&B Construction,
on CenturyTel properties, diving services for a lake crossing
across the Shell Knob, MO area of Table Rock Lake.
Our divers, Scuba Doo Dive Shop out of
Mountain Home, AR were responsible for making sure the new
cable that was dropped into the lake was not hung up on
any trees above the bottom.
Fiber-Tel
Contractors was also responsible for the fusion splicing
of the cable route.
